Sorting assets by callouts in Utilization

You can sort assets by callouts in Utilization. This feature enables you to sort incorrectly reporting assets or assets with other issues to the top of the Utilization page so you can easily select and interact with them. Sorting by callouts is also available in Asset Utilization Details, which enables you to troubleshoot records with callouts by time stamp.

On the desktop or tablet:

  1. In the Utilization page, List view, or in the Asset Utilization Details page for a selected asset, select the callout column:

  1. The assets are sorted in ascending order (no callouts at the top). Select the callout column again. The assets are sorted in descending order with incorrectly reporting assets or assets with other issues at the top. In Asset Utilization Details, the records are sorted in descending order for troubleshooting records with callouts by time stamp.

On a mobile:

  1. In the Utilization page, List view, or in the Asset Utilization Details page for a selected asset, select Refine .
  2. Select Sort By: Callouts and select the sort order icon :

  1. Select OK. The assets are sorted in descending order with incorrectly reporting assets or assets with other issues at the top. In Asset Utilization Details, the records are sorted in descending order for troubleshooting records with callouts by time stamp.

Assets sorted by Asset ID for All device types in Asset Settings

In the Asset Settings page, assets are sorted and displayed by Asset ID for All device types by default. This enhancement makes it easier to locate assets regardless of device type. Previously, the assets were grouped by device type, and could be sorted only by the selected device type.

Predictive Search filter added to Asset Icon configuration

A Predictive Search filter is now available for Asset Icon configuration. To select an asset icon to represent the asset in VisionLink, you can use Predictive Search to filter the asset icons to match the entered characters as you type. Previously, you had to scroll a long list of asset icons to find the one you wanted.

Resolved issues

ClosedNovember 2019 - January 2020

  • An issue where some telematics data was received but not processed in error has been resolved in VisionLink Unified Fleet. Some of the overlooked messages included Idle Hours, Idle Fuel, and Total Fuel data, which resulted in missing utilization calculations. (Unified Fleet)
  • Device ownership transfers and device replacements are now successful. Previously, transfers and replacements were unsuccessful if the transfer or replacement events were received into the system in a different order. (Unified Fleet)
  • An error message appears as expected when the user enters incorrect login information. (Unified Fleet)
  • An issue with imported design files that caused Cut/Fill mapping data to not display has been resolved. (3D Productivity Manager)
  • An issue that caused a mismatch in Occurrence Count, Hour Meter, and Odometer values in the Fault Code report and the values in the Unified Service Fault Codes Summary has been resolved. (Administrator)

ClosedOctober - November 2019

  • Selected filters applied in VisionLink Unified Fleet can now be seen in Administrator while the user generates a report from these applications. This feature helps make the user aware the report is based on filtered information. ClosedLearn more

For example, the user wants to know which of his backhoe loaders idled more than 25% in the last 30 days. These filters (Product Family: Backhoe Loaders, Idle % >25, and Date Range: 10/24/19 - 11/22/19) are shown below the Frequency field in the Schedule Email Report form in Administrator. (Unified Fleet)

  • TrimbleⓇ GeoManager and Pulse data feeds have been integrated and the polling frequency has been updated to every 15 minutes from every 65 minutes. (Unified Fleet, Unified Productivity, Unified Service)
  • An issue that caused an asset’s new ownership to not be updated has been resolved. (Administrator, Unified Fleet, Unified Productivity, Unified Service)
  • Geofences are no longer duplicated for assets in Unified Fleet.
  • Asset Operation events for impacted assets are now showing correctly in device time instead of UTC time. (Unified Fleet)
  • An asset no longer appears in multiple, non-overlapping geofences in the Asset Dashboard when no exit geofence has been recorded. (Unified Fleet)
  • Multiple locations and fault codes for assets are no longer received in error. (Unified Fleet)
  • Two locations are no longer displayed for a single asset. Previously, two different API feeds were feeding data incorrectly to the same asset, which appeared to be located in two different countries. (Unified Service)
  • Assets are no longer missing from or associated with the wrong DCN. This issue was caused by DCN updates not being transferred properly from the Trimble Store to VisionLink Unified Fleet, which has been corrected. (Unified Fleet)
  • Assets whose services were manually cancelled in the Trimble Store or cancelled via DSP are no longer visible in Unified Fleet.
  • Engine Start/Stop API data is available in VisionLink in a timely fashion. Previously, the data did not reach the API feed until several days after the events occurred. (Unified Fleet)
  • Utilization data feed consumers have been combined in order to increase data delivery speed without significantly impacting performance. (Unified Fleet)
